Archistrategos with gold plating

Dedicated to the Archangel, one of the most revered biblical figures, known as the Archistrategos – the supreme commander.\nArchangel Michael is a steadfast warrior against the forces of evil, a protector of faith, and the patron of soldiers who fight for a righteous cause and defend what is good. He is regarded as the “heavenly guardian” of the Ukrainian army.\n\nRespect for Archistrategos Michael has been preserved from the time of the Kyivan princes to the present day. He became a symbol of divine protection for the rulers of Kyiv, and this reverence was later reflected not only in the names of churches but also in heraldry – appearing on the coats of arms of Kyiv, the Kyiv Voivodeship, and the Kyiv Governorate. Today, his image is part of the insignia of Ukrainian paratroopers and once again symbolizes the struggle against evil.
